I spent seventeen years training privately with Sifu Dave Carnell (Impact Martial Arts Academy), learning Wing Chun, JKD, Kali / Escrima and Silat. I also travelled to the Philippines and had the good fortune to train with Grand Master Diony Canete.

My next trip was in 2000 to Stockton California USA, I met GM Leo Giron, GM Tony Somera, Guro Carlito Bonjoc, GM Vincent Cabales and Master Ron Saturno. I have been travelling to Stockton to train since.

October 1st 1993 I graduated as a Sifu/Guro (instructor) from The Impact Martial Arts Academy Authorised to teach Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do / Kali / Escrima and Silat

June 20th 2001 I was the official representative of Bahala Na for the UK under GM Tony Somera. This continued until June 2008

January 11th 2002 I was given the rank of Guro in Serrada Escrima under Guro Carlito Bonjoc

I have demonstrated Jeet Kune Do at the Gathering in Sacramento in 2003 / Reno in 2005 and have also conducted two JKD seminars in Stockton, California.

October 7th 2006 I graduated in Giron Arnis Escrima from Bahala Na in Stockton, the last year before the split, as a result it was the last graduation recognised by all Bahala Na

June 28th 2008 I was given the rank of Guro in Cabales Serrada Escrima under Master Ron Saturno

June 08 we left GM Tony Somera’s club and joined Bahala Na Multi Style 

October 1st 2010 I received my Masters Diploma in Serrada Escrima from Master Ron Saturno, my greatest achievement The only Serrada Master in the UK, other than those i have promoted since

September 2011 Master Wade Williams added GMAA empty hands to his schools curriculum
